Uncle Jake, Thomas the Train, & the Pumpkin Patch

Hey Everyone...we are still alive...just barely though. Here is our update from the past few weeks...Uncle Jake came to visit us one night which was a great suprise. Corban always loves playing in his truck and I am sure Landice will too. The main reason he stopped by was to pick up a 35lb. picture of a horse with a scripture on it. My mom called me to ask a favor and it included picking up this picture from Hobby Lobby. This thing was huge and I looked like a crazy lady when I went in to buy it. My mom told me it was at the front of the store and I would know it as soon as I saw it. So I look to my right and that wasn't the right picture. I look to my left and low and behold there it was and I said outright "I want to buy that horse!" As if anyone else was going to beat me to it. It is a nice picture for those horse people. I definitely got a good laugh out of that one.

Here is our attempt at taking a picture with Thomas. We took the road less traveled in this event. The lines were outrageous and Corban was having a break down from lack of nutrition. Corban loved it. We didn't actually ride Thomas, but we did tour the other trains and play with all the toys available. This is a great family thing to do...afterall, I got my first tatoo there!

Such a big girl in the pumpkins. Tara and I took the kids to a pumpkin patch on Wednesday. It was a fun time letting them pick out pumpkins and enjoy the experience. After the pumpkin patch, we had some friends over to play and have lunch. We ended the day with playing with water balloons. The kids really got a kick out of this. They really liked it when the balloons exploded on me while I was filling them up.
