Thanksgiving Times Three!

We have a lot to be Thankful for! We have such a healthy family and we all live relatively close to each other. On Thanksgiving day we went to Maud, America to my grandparents house. We had a wonderful meal that consisted of the typical Thanksgivingy food, however, the food I look most forward to is my Grandma Brewer's fried ocra. YEs, I said fried! I can't resist hers at all. Then, of course, the dessert table! My favorite! My aunt Zina made a delicious Chocolate Pumkin Cake in which she was so kind to send home with us to take to our 2nd Thanksgiving meal. Well, about half of that actually made it there! We loved it!
The day after Thanksgiving we went to my brother inlaws house because Joshua's youngest brother and his girlfriend came up. Ashley is extremely allergic to cats so we couldn't meet at Gigi & Tito's or Nana & Papaw's house. It was alot of fun. Gran & Gramps brought Corban and Landice's Christmas presents and gave them to them early. Which was a hit! Corban received a cool new train set and Landice received a sock monkey(made by Gran) and a new baby doll! Landice is very attached to that doll already! I personally LOVE the train set so much because I GET to play with it with Corban at least 3 times an hour! He isn't quite big enough to clip the tracks together, so I am the official track master! I am getting quite good at it I must say. There are times I find myself telling Corban to go play with something else so he won't mess my track up. There was one that I made a loop -d- loop with an elevating bridge to go over and under! So thanks Gran and Gramps!

On the second day after Thanksgiving, Seth decided we must play some basketball. So we got up at an insane hour on a Saturday - 8 am - and went up to the gym to play. We did have a lot of fun! After that we all got cleaned up and had brunch at my house. Thanks to Nana pre-cooking quiche, bread, crossants, sausage, bacon, breakfast cassarole, etc. So good, I think we should make that a tradition! Don't worry Nana, we won't make you cook everything again!
All in all, our Thanksgiving holiday was very enjoyable. No huge family issues to worry about. Just a hugely blown diet and two very tired babies!
