So proud of my BABE!!!

This handsome fella suffered through terrible blisters, uphill both way runs in the wrong direction, and most of all the the lack of desire to run. But, since he is married to annoyingly relentless motivator he wanted to shut up, he successfully completed his first (and probably last) Half Marathon in the Route 66 Tulsa Marathon this weekend. I was happy to be his cheerleader! He is mine in so many ways in life and it felt good to be able to support him! Way to go, Babe!

Proudly wearing his cool medal that has a spinner!
Nerves before the race...
After mile 7...looking good...
Around mile 11 he had to walk a bit...
I miss this intense look he use to have all the time when he played soccer.
Crossing the finish line...woohoo!
You can tell by their expressions that they definitely want to do this again! HA!
Trading post race stories...
Guys, you did GREAT!~

I'm so proud of you too! That's no easy task ESPECIALLY if you don't really like to run. Way to go guys.
