This week I have had a more normal week at work. I could get used to not working on some days I think. Monday night we had the Awtry's over for dinner. I made a homemade spaghetti sauce in hopes that Baby Brinley would come early. No such luck. Tuesday after all my daily activities I vacuumed my mother in laws house because she had gall bladder surgery last week. I think she really appreciated it. I did kinda make her vacuum smoke....not sure what was the deal though. I had to go in for my annual exam and my doctor finally gave me some props for something. Usually I go in when I am pregnant and he just makes me feel like a big fatty. So when I would leave I wanted to go eat cookies. But this time he gave me an A+. I asked him about splitting my abs so he took a look. He informed me that he repaired them along with the c-section and I had very defined abs. Yeah! It is something...I will take it! I was on cloud nine. Joshua was dreading me calling him, becasue I would always be in a bad mood after seeing that doctor. Wednesday, Gran and Gramps are in town to see Lannea before she goes on PacRim(I think...one of those). So we have spent some time with them this week. Joshua is at it full throttle this week at work. Thank goodness we have a holiday on Monday. Oh I almost forgot... we met Corban's Westwood Day School teacher as well. I think he will do great...I on the other hand...we'll see. There is a kid in his class that is allergic to everything under sun. So no peanut butter sandwiches. Also, we have a snack sign up sheet with a list of appropriate snacks. They include graham crackers, teddy grahams, pretzels, or oreos along with juice boxes. What!!! The thought that my child will have a cookie and juice twice a week and he is 2 is insane. I know I have to let go of some things, but do you realized that 2 glasses of juice contains 16 cubes of sugar. I know in the whole scheme of things this is very miniscule but I will have to come up with a plan....
