This Week!

Joshua has been working late alot! Which means I am working alot...except for at my job. All of my clients are on vacations I wish I were on. So this week has been a bit more relaxing. I decided to offer a Circuit Fitness Walk at Hafer park. No takers, but we had a blast anyway. Monday, the kids and I went by ourselves. We played at the play ground and then went on our walk. We checked out the ducks while I did lunges and at every shaded area I would do some exercises. Corban would so "Mommy, no do that!" I did it anyway. We arrived at the actual workout station and I took Corban out of the stroller. He would watch me from opposite ends and would try to do it like me after I moved on to another station. It was really neat to see him try so hard. When we were at the pull up station he would say "My do it." So I let him try with my help, of course. Then he would say, "Mommy, turn!" So I did a wimpy 1 and a half. Amazing how quickly we loose our strength. I feel that this applies to our Christian life too. I am so glad I have so many Christian friends who help keep me accountable. I love being able to see them at least 2 times a week. A great boost!
Tuesday, I went back with my friend Joanne and her babies, Caleb and Abigail. I dropped Landice off with Tara and took Kadence with me. It was fun...like having twins. I think I could handle twins if I got them at age 2! Just kidding! We fed the ducks cheerios...I think it lowered their cholesterol. The ducks got into a fight...well, we lowered their cholesterol and raised their blood pressure...oh well! All in all it was hot and fun. Wednesday, we celebrated Jana's birthday. Dinner at our house and dessert at the Hobbs. Thursday, weeded the flower beds, watered the flowers, cleaned out the pool. I was trying not to get too wet, but Corban managed to change that. He soaked me with the water hose so I just got in the pool with him. Nothing like swimming in your underwear on a hot day! Corban decided to only swim in his light up Thomas shoes. Bad idea...last night Joshua looked out the back door and saw some red flashing lights. Apparently, we shorted a circuit in his shoes and they went beserk! I think they are dead now. Today, I worked one whole hour this week! Visited Gigi & Tito. Had lunch with Uncle Jakie at Jason's Deli. I think that is all...

Wow!!! Look at those kiddos. Getting so big so fast. Sounds like you're not just sitting around eating bonbons. Like you would eat bonbons. Maybe carrot sticks.
