Trunk or Treat!

Trunk or Treat at Memorial Road is alot of fun for my family. We get the kids all dressed up and go around and trick or treat out of trunks of members cars. Usually, Nana and Papaw decorate their trunk for us to visit, but this year they were unable to due to a death in the family. However, we did get my parents to come to our neck of the woods. Dad came to church with us with Wesley and Desmond. This is a picture taken after church was over.


Batman and a Fairy Princess. Originally, I had a dragon costume, but I am size challenged and I love taking things back only to find they don't have the correct size less than a week before Halloween. I love this picture...we always wondered where Landice got her weird faces and noises from (she can't possibly get them from me!). Here is a great shot of my Dad and Landice at their best and Corban is just trying to figure out what to do with them!

Mom, was sleeping all day Sunday due to her working on top of being a busy foster parent of a 3 1/2 & a 2 1&2 year old. So she didn't make it to church with us. But she made it nonetheless and here they are getting the boys dressed in the parking lot.

Here is a great shot with Joshua and the kids. I never realized how hard it is to get all parties (including Dad) to smile simultaneously. So this is the pick of the litter.Uncle Jakie! Dressed as a pirate he really looked cute! Earing and all!

Conversation after Trunk or Treat:

Corban: I need my "cany"

Me: You don't need candy (as I dig all the chocolate out of his bag)

Corban: No, I need it

Me: Okay, here you go but this is it for the evening...we haven't had dinner yet?(as I tell Joshua I am going to eat the last piece of chocolate)

Corban: "Tank you" Mmmm...gum good! (actually eating skittles)

Joshua: What! You ate all the chocolate!

Me: Yeah...well...nope there is either a 3 musketeer or a krackel left (both of which could have been half way in my mouth...I think I was comatose by then)
